Preconditions
The occupation of territories in the south of Ukraine by rushists, their mining, and the destruction by rushists of the Kakhovka HPP became the key factors in the sharp reduction in the area of growing vegetables and melon crops.
At the same time, access to water and changes of the climate allow growing of vegetables and melon crops on Podnisteria. It prompted “MAXFARM” to spread horizons of its activities, particularly, plant one and a half hectares with watermelons (crop capacity is about 60 tons), and plant onion instead sunflowers (crop capacity is about 6000 tons).
The construction of a vegetable storage and sorting line has already begun, and production facilities for deep processing of vegetables are planned.
